A1333629 Sundance is a brown and white colored, approximately 1 to 2-year-old, 57-pound, neutered male Boxer mix. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 09-06-2024 due to family medical issues at the home. Sundance is a friendly but timid boy here at the shelter. He is a little unsure in the shelter environment. He was easy to leash but is not leash trained. Our staff describes him as a good boy, who is kind of timid, in need of leash training and love. The previous owner says he is housebroken, used a doggy door and has lived with other dogs, but no children or cats. He showed no interest in other dogs here. Sundance will be a loyal companion in his new forever home.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
