A21806 Draco is a brindle colored, approximately 4-year-old, 43-pound, neutered male, Heeler / Pitbull mix.
He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 09-12-2024 due to the fact the owner was homeless.
Draco is a friendly, timid boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is shy in the kennel, but once out and alone with him he loves attention, and he is easy to handle. He has had some training and will "sit upon command. He has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. He was easy to leash but pulls in excitement during our walks. The previous owner says he is housebroken and has lived with other dogs, cats and children. Draco will be a loving companion in his new forever home.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
