A21553 Sydney is a brown colored, approximately 3-year-old, 40-pound, spayed female, Boxer mix.
She entered the shelter as a stray on 08-31-2024 and was altered by our medical staff.
Sydney is a friendly, excited girl here at the shelter. Our staff says she is a little shy at first. Seems like she is trying to figure out the shelter environment. We believe she will have a lot more personality when she is in a quieter home environment. She was easy to leash and well behaved during our walks. She has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Sydney will be a loving, loyal companion in her new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
