For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps City of Henderson Animal Care and Control with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A-21297 Blue is a white and black colored, approximately 2-year-old, 9-pound, spayed female, Domestic Long-Haired Cat.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 08-08-2024 due to the fact they can't afford a pet anymore.
Blue is a friendly, social girl here at the shelter. She comes right up to the kennel door and loves to be pet. She does not like being restrained or carried and may hiss, bite or scratch if you try. We carry her by wrapping her in a blanket first, and she allows a short carry. She will need a patient owner who will allow her to be herself. We would recommend no children since she doesn't like being picked up or rough petting. Blue will be an independent loving companion in her new forever home.
