My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A1306782 Oakley is a 1-year-old, 71-pound, spayed female, black and white Labrador Pitbull mix. She entered the shelter as an owner surrender due to the fact, for "behavioral issues. Oakley is a friendly eager girl with plenty of energy. She will "sit upon command. So, she has had some training, but could use additional teaching. The previous owner advised she is house broken and that she has lived with other dogs, cats, and children. Although the previous owner reported aggression to other animals, she has been nothing but polite in our care. She was easy to leash but did pull in excitement to be out exploring. She had no interest in other dogs. Oakley has a sensitive trachea and needs to be walked on a harness or gentle leader to minimize coughing episodes. She will need an active family to keep her busy or maybe a running partner if that is your hobby. Oakley is excited to get to her forever home.
