My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings ghosts and ghouls! With the Halloween season creeping upon us, we just had to honor this gorgeous gal with a spooktacular name! Meet Spooky, a sweet Terrier mix, rescued off the city’ euthanasia list along with her seven puppies. In addition to being the best mama dog around, this scruffy lady is as easy as they come. Spooky is quiet, easy-going, gentle and well-mannered. Whether she’s in the bathtub, on a walk or just hanging out with her people, Spooky is as docile as they come. Upon her arrival, Spooky was quick to trade kisses to the SNIPSA staff for some belly rubs. As a Wheaton Terrier mix, Spooky is likely to display friendly, devoted and intelligent traits. Her longer hair appears to be low-shed, but it will still need regular maintenance to avoid matting! So, if you’re in need of a new boo this season, submit an application for Spooky today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
