My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marina is a 12 year old female, who is 16 pounds.

Marina has made an incredible transformation in her spirit since coming to DRSF.  She was a stray at a shelter way outside our area, and her sad face tugged at our hearts and we could not leave here there to be euthanized, and so we arranged transport to South Florida where our community provided the care that she needed to start her life over.  You can see more photos and all the love that came to Marina on her Fundrazr. 

After all her medical treatment, Marina was left with only teeth (all the others had to be removed due to neglect), but that does not slow her or her appetite down! 

Since being in foster care, Marina has become so much more confident, and her sweet, funny personality has come out with the help of people who love her.
