We heard of a colony of cats over in Camp Washington and started the project of trapping and getting them spayed and neutered. We caught 8 adults and 5 kittens and thought we were done with the project. As we left the area, we saw one lone kitten in a fenced in area! Several people were trying to trap him, and FINALLY they did!
He was the last to be caught and we really did not know if he would be socialized. He was around 3 months old when caught. However, he decided that being an indoor cat is pretty fantastic and he is a bit of a wild man. He actually plays with the small dog he is fostered with and runs around like a maniac. He LOVES his rescuer - will climb up on her lap and follow her around. It is our hope that he can bond to someone else as well. He can be quite needy! If he does not know where his human is, he LOUDLY cries. Silly boy! He is goofy and fun. When we had him neutered we had his back legs x-rayed and the poor boy has an old injury where his leg was broken. It is healed now, and does not slow him down.
Born likely in April of 2024, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $75.
