Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 27 August 2024 -------- Age at intake: 6 months ----- Breed: Pug Mix ----- Size: 16 lbs ----- Status: owner surrender, overwhelming numbers ----- Compatible with: Dogs, cats, children ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Andy! The cute sister who holds her own with her brothers. She came to rescue from a good Samaritan helping a family get their pet number under control. They started with two unaltered and had nearly 30 and were overwhelmed trying to care for the growing group. This is how quickly not spaying/neutering can get out of hand! Andy is the shy one of the family. You can tell she really wants to get into the shenanigans with her brothers but just can't make the leap so she watches from the outskirts just not quite confident enough to leap in. She is such a love though. She loves cuddles, being held, and playing. She is not leashed trained so we are working on that but she has a great outgoing personality. She is very active and busy as a puppy but also shy and will bolt if scared so a fenced yard is required for his safety. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is required.
