My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These Little ladies came into our care after they were found left in a box. Thankfully, they were brought here where we are now on the look for a new loving home!

Guinea pigs are prey animals so it is typical for them to hide or run away when you come up to them. Cayenne and Pepper are quite fearful and skittish when we approach their cage and are not fans of being held. They may need some extra time to build trust and feel comfortable. Their new home would need to have the patience and time to devote some time into socializing them. With a little love, time and veggies, we are sure their personalities will come out and shine!

More about this shelter

Want to adopt a pet and give them a forever home? We're thrilled! Our pro-adoption shelter places 200 to 300 dogs and small animals every year with families and homes that best meet the needs of the animals.

We have dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs. While puppies are popular, older dogs can be great pets, too. They are smart and grateful companions that won't leave you with puppy puddles or chewed-up slippers. Why not enrich your life and that of an older dog?

We also adopt out small animals including rabbits, hamsters, birds, rats, guinea pigs, and sometimes reptiles.
