My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our lil Magnolia, just a baby bunny new to this world. She was found running around a Whole Foods parking lot and a kind citizen brought her to us.

Magnolia is very shy and skittish, she has spent a few months growing up out in the world on her own. She is learning to trust people, especially those who offer yummy veggies. But her instinct to bolt is strong, she runs away to hide quite a lot. Magnolia will need a new bunny experienced owner who knows how to work with shy bunnies. We would love to see her placed with another rabbit, she can take cues and learn from.

We are happy to facilitate meets here at VAS if anyone interested in adopting has a bunny already. Please help us teach this lil one, the world and the animal loving people in it are safe.

More about this shelter

Want to adopt a pet and give them a forever home? We're thrilled! Our pro-adoption shelter places 200 to 300 dogs and small animals every year with families and homes that best meet the needs of the animals.

We have dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs. While puppies are popular, older dogs can be great pets, too. They are smart and grateful companions that won't leave you with puppy puddles or chewed-up slippers. Why not enrich your life and that of an older dog?

We also adopt out small animals including rabbits, hamsters, birds, rats, guinea pigs, and sometimes reptiles.
