Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This handsome boy is Nash. He is 5-years-old and weighs 40 lb. We think Nash is a terrier mix. Nash was adopted from DAWS when he was younger but his owner had a life change and Nash is now back with us, looking for his forever home. Nash is a sweet and friendly dog who is playful and loves toys. He loves any kind of activity and would be happy to join anyone on an adventure. He is very much a people dog and greets everyone with a wagging tail. Some things to know about Nash are that he's best kept on a leash due to his love of running and he will sometimes bark at cars as they go by. Nash gets excited when seeing dogs on leash and will bark at them as well, but stops the second they are out of sight. The ideal home for Nash is someone with dog experience who feels capable of handling his known quirks and able to meet his exercise requirements with walks, hikes or a fenced-in yard. Nash would do great in a home with children of all ages. He might have trouble adjusting to a home with another dog due to his previous living situation (the other dog didn't like Nash), but a dog introduction can be done. We think Nash would do best in a home without cats. Nash is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. His adoption fee is $395. If you would like to meet/adopt Nash, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Email daws@daws.org if you need assistance or have any questions.
