My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy and Mickey are a bonded pair of cocker spaniels and will be adopted together.

Lucy is the playful one who always wants to play with her ball or toys. Mickey is more interested in being with his human and getting affection. He will play with toys but not as much as Lucy.

They are both incredibly friendly and sweet natured. They do not know a stranger and give kisses freely. They are good with other dogs, it is unknown how they are around cats.

Typical for the breed they will need regular grooming or their fur will get matted.
They will need daily exercise and fun time playing fetch in the back yard.

Mickey is 6 years old and Lucy is 3 years old. They adore each other and Lucy will spend hours daily grooming her buddy Mickey. He will just lay there and let her do it.

They are full grown, Lucy weighs 23lbs and Mickey weighs 24lbs. They are potty trained and good in the home. They will jump up on the sofa and try to relax on your lap if you will allow them too.

More about this rescue

We are a registered 501(c)(3) non- profit, charitable organization. Our mission is to rescue dogs from overcrowded and high kill shelters, and place them in loving homes. We also strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spay/neuter, so that one day there will no longer be adoptable dogs, euthanized by the thousands in our shelters. We are an all volunteer organization. 100% of donations go directly to the care of the dogs.
