My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Forrest is large and in charge, and this outgoing strongman will need a handler who`s just as mighty as he is!

Some pertinent information to know about this swashbuckling fellow is that he is on a prescription diet called Z/D that helps keep his skin allergies in check. Forrest would also thrive best in a home with no kids under 18, no cats, and no dogs. He`s a bit possessive of his food and toys and isn`t afraid to let it be known he`s not interested in sharing either his things or his humans with other animals.

Forrest has been learning how to walk nicely on leash and has been doing wonderful at it in the past few weeks; KVHS staff is willing to show potential adopters the training style we are using with him.

He`s a smart fellow...he loves to work his brain and learn new things. Learning new commands, tricks, etc will keep him happy and engaged.

Forrest, however, is loyal and loving to his people and will alert them to someone at the door or in the yard. He loves attention and hanging out with his family. He`s also quite the athlete! Walking, running, playing fetch, you name it, and this guy is on it! Rolling Jolly Balls around is his all-time favorite sport! When he`s feeling particularly playful, he`ll even throw YOU the ball or toy to get you in on the game, too! What can he say...he doesn`t want anyone to feel left out!
If you are interested in Forrest, we ask that you bring all family members to meet him.
