Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Goose and his brother Maverick were found trying to survive as a strays. They stayed with a foster until their neuter surgeries, and are now cleared for adoption! This dynamic duo are FULL of energy! After they got acclimated to their foster's home, they ran the house! Goose loves to play and explore, spending hours running after his brother and chasing after cat toys. He is also a sweet kitty. Once he tires out, he liked to curl up for naps and cuddles near her foster mom. Goose did a good job using a scratching pad, tolerated nail trims, appreciated access to multiple litter boxes, and would do anything for canned food. Goose would benefit from a home where he will get lots of attention and cuddles, and maybe have another animal to play with. Remember- slow introductions are key when meeting new four-legged friends! Consider adding this cutie to your family or adopt both Maverick and Goose for maximum kitten antics! !

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
