Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Shakira, the dog with a heart as big as her smile! Despite her unknown past as a stray, Shakira has blossomed into a social butterfly who loves meeting new friends. Whether you're a familiar face or a new acquaintance, she'll greet you with a wagging tail and a warm welcome. Friendly and affectionate, Shakira is ready to bring joy and companionship into her forever home. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will make every day brighter, Shakira might just be the perfect match for you.

Each adoption consists of an interview, application, counseling session, and adoption contract. All adoptions are handled on a case-by-case basis, but most adoptions are first-come, first-served, and holds cannot be placed in advance for someone to meet with an animal. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Please see http://www.nevadahumanesociety.org/ for more information including all currently available animals, adoption prices, resources, and events.
