My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Ladybug was brought to us when her previous owners left her in the care of the people they were living with. Unfortunately, they could no longer keep her. She is shy and scared, but so willing to love. She just needs the right person to give her the time and attention she deserves. She is okay with other dogs. She tolerates them. I feel she would benefit from a calm older dog. She doesn't mind cats.

This little peanut is a great size for older folks and is cute as a bug - hence, the name Ladybug.

More about this rescue

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
