My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful big head goes by the name of Rosco!

Rosco is a charming 4-year-old Pitbull who was found in Wentzville on 8/20/24. At first, he might seem a bit shy, but offer him a treat, and you`ll quickly see him warm up and show his affectionate side. Once Rosco feels comfortable, he absolutely loves soaking up all the attention you can give. However, he is a bit head shy and tends to cower at any sudden movements.

In the play yard, Rosco`s playful spirit shines through. His bouncy body language suggests he’s eager to make new doggy friends. After some introductions with other dogs, staff has learned that Rosco would thrive in a home with other dogs similar to his size who enjoy rough-and-tumble play.

When introduced to cats, poor Rosco was so scared that he jumped and hid behind a staff member with his tail between his legs. Despite this, we believe he may do well with a confident cat who can help him build his confidence around felines.

Rosco is a sweetheart who`s looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished. Could you be the one to give him that chance?
