If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Disco, he’s a high energy good boy that is about 11 months old. He sometimes chases cats and chickens, so needs a home where there are no small animals. He lives with another dog but can be very rude with him, so he will need a dog that can match his energy or no other dogs in the home.
Unfortunately, I work too much and he spends a lot of time in a kennel that he hates so he is looking for someone who can take him out on more adventures. He is a big doofus that likes to do parkour, dig in dirt, snuggle, and eat good food.
He enjoys barking and was surrendered to the shelter due to it, meaning he will not be good for apartment living.
He knows sit, down, spin, and kennel. Recall and leash skills are still in the works and will need help defining these skills.
Disco is looking for a home with someone who has experience with Dalmatians and positive based training.
He has been a great energetic boy and we don't want to rehome him, but our home is also not ideal for what he needs.
