Meet Edamame! He is a Whippet/Greyhound mix with the most beautiful black and brown brindle coat. Edamame is esitmated to be around 2-3 years old. This happy guy was left at the Humane Society and no one has claimed him. We are not sure why? He is so sweet and gentle. Edamame loves to take walks and walks well on the leash. He LOVES time in the play-yard and just likes to run and tire himself out. He does not seem to be reactive towards other dogs, and since he was a stray we are not certain if he has been around other dogs or cats. He is pretty gentle when taking treats. The Adoption Counselors will review your application and if approved will contact you to pay an adoption hold fee to reserve the animal.

Meet the Pet

All adopters need an appointment to meet the pet due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thank you for choosing adoption! We hope that you will find a pet that will become a long time member of your family! Currently we are open to visitors and adopters via appointments only. The Adoption Counselors can schedule a time to visit after reviewing your accepted application. Please visit our website to see the pets profile and apply for them electronically. All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, have rabies and distemper shots (age appropriate), and are de-wormed and microchipped. We do not receive any federal, state or government funding or any funds from any national animal welfare organizations to operate.

The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home.
