My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finlee is a Moyen Goldendoodle recently rescued from an Amish puppy mill. Finlee is the best girl and so sweet and loving. She might take a few minutes to warm up but when she does, she is your best friend. Finlee has been doing well with housebreaking. She is fine with dogs most of the time but then out of nowhere will snap at them. She might do best being an only dog. Finlee being a 3 yr. old mill momma and still has a lot to learn and will need someone with patience. Leash walking car rides house noise are all new to her. She will be spayed soon and ready for her home.

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
