Meet Coco, a four-year-old, 8 lb. purebred shih tzu who was purchased from puppy mill Pennsylvania at just 8-weeks-old and has now found herself without a home. The owners recently decided to surrender Coco due to not being able to care for her. She is a petite bundle of joy and while this big change has been scary for her, she’s starting to settle in nicely.
Coco is a sweet little lady who embodies the perfect blend of gentleness and affection.
She’s well-socialized with other pups and has a friendly disposition towards kids of all ages, making her an ideal companion for families. Coco is currently in foster with multiple dogs and was previously living with children. She is pretty calm and laid back, but does enjoy playing on occasion. While Coco has a calm demeanor, her small size can sometimes make her a bit shy, so a patient approach is essential to help her build trust and confidence.
She adores being around people and loves to snuggle up for gentle hugs. With her big, expressive eyes, Coco has a way of melting hearts wherever she goes. She thrives on companionship and will flourish in a loving environment where she can feel safe and cherished. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will bring warmth and joy to your home, Coco is the perfect match.
Her adoption fee is $400 and Coco is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and will be spayed in October. She is also currently undergoing treatment for lyme’s disease.
