For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Ricky is the most perfect puppy you will ever meet! He was found abandoned on the side of the road and after being rescued it became clear he had some vision issues. His vision is severely limited, but he does not let that slow him down! He is the sweetest, smartest, most amazing puppy you will ever meet.
He loves to go on walks, play with toys, and SNUGGLE!! He can navigate his foster home well and has mastered the stairs.
He is crate trained, and almost completely potty-trained.
You seriously could not ask for a better pup!
BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
RIcky is being fostered in Chicago.

Can I meet the dog before I submit an application?
All of our dogs are cared for in private foster homes. We cannot make arrangements for private meet and greets until an application is received and references have been checked. That being said, many of our dogs are at local public events where you can certainly go to meet them.
Will you transport the dog to me? What if I live in Canada?
Generally yes, as long as you do not live more than 18 hours from a dog’s foster home. If you are unsure, please email adoption@blinddogrescue.org
