I’m a happy puppy who wants to play and please my human(s). Like most pups I have lots of energy and can be kind of goofy and playful.
I was just a young pup when I was abandoned with my 7 siblings and mom at a local high school parking lot. It was so hot! Apparently it was 110 degrees and it felt even hotter with my dark black coat. We had been there for awhile and were covered in fleas and sores. During that time someone had come over to us and I was so excited that we were going to be rescued, but sadly only one of my litter mates was taken. Luckily, someone else eventually took us in and found a nice lady to take my mom. We were sad to be separated from her, but knew it was important for her to be taken care of and find a home before us. So now, it’s our turn to find homes and I’m hoping I could be the one for you!
Because I’m so young, my personality is just starting to form. I’m a typical puppy who is eager to please, excited to learn and become someone’s loyal and loving family member.
So far I have shown that I get along with dogs of all sizes. I haven’t yet met any cats, so unknown whether we would be friends. I get along with kids and could play forever!
Though I haven’t had any training yet and haven’t learned about how to walk on a leash, I am excited to learn with your patience and guidance. While not yet completely house trained, I am successfully using puppy pads.

Kids: unknown. Rescuer states yes, but awaiting video proof.
Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.

Health notes:
I am too young yet to be spayed/neutered, but I am vaccinated. Spay/neuter will be the responsibility of the adopter and is required for my adoption to be finalized.
Loved at Last will pay for a microchip.
My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.

Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.
Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.
Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.
The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.
