A Little Bit About Me

Storm is a senior girl who likes attention in little bursts. She purrs, rubs up against your legs and gives you sweet little head bunts in greeting and she appreciates just a few pets in return. She also likes to lap sit as long as there is not too much petting involved! Her previous guardian mentioned that she loves sleeping on the bed.

Storm likes life on her own terms and isn't shy about letting you know what she likes and doesn't like! She is seeking an experienced guardian who can read her signals, respect her space and enjoys the quirks of a senior lady. ***ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED***

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
