Pepper is absolutely a VELCRO dog. She will be by your side 24/7 (please take this comment seriously). Her human should be sure footed!! Pepper is a Lhasa Apso Mix (poodle). She weighs 10 pounds.

Pepper came to us as a stray. She has been spayed and had extensive dental work performed. Pepper is cohabitating well with 3 other dogs, all larger than her. Kinda hard to be smaller!!! She plays well with all. She walks really great on a leash. Don't let her size fool you. She can stand her ground if needed. In fact, she does have a bit of a snarky side!

She is fully housebroken though Pepper is not fond of letting her human out of her sight. When I leave, she has a little fit but by time I am down the drive, she is in the window and resolved to my absence. Her fit/cry is not for the weak of heart! My guess is that her previous owner took her everywhere.

Pepper would do great with a fenced yard but also ok if her human walked her many times during the day. One thing she will absolutely need is a window to look out. She spends 85% of her day laying on the back of the couch looking out our front window. She does bark but only when "needed".

Pepper takes time to warm up and probably needs a home without kids or with older kids who understand to leave her alone until she is well adjusted to them. She does not like to picked up or handled by strangers and will offer to nip if she is not comfortable. Once warmed up she is perfectly happy and social with her people.
