My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Champ is around 50 lbs and 2-3 yrs old.  He is a  ix so he will likely not get any bigger. Champ is shy at first but warms up and is quite friendly and playful.  He is fine with other dogs.  We do not know how he is with children and cats.

He loves to go for walks and loves the attention he gets while out.

Anyone interested in Champ should stop at the shelter and meet him.  Application is necessary if you choose to be considered.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
