My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daphne is just the right amount of spunk, energy and cuddles. She gets along well with her fur foster brothers and sister as well as her human brother and sister. Shes working on potty training both inside on a pee mat and outside on turf (were unable to take her fully outside yet, because shes not fully vaccinated to teach her to go potty on the grass). Shes doing pretty well with this, but still has accidents in the house. She sleeps through the night and has only had one accident over night. She is the sweetest little thing, loves kisses, loves laying with her humans and playing with her fur brothers and sister. Were unsure of how she would be with cats

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
