Looking for a sweet, small size, friendly, smart adventure dog? Meet Missy! Super small, manageable size at only 25lbs, very focused on her person, loves treats so will be easy to train, will do well with a family with children, younger adults up to active retirees. Dont wait long if you are interested in Missy, shell be adopted quickly! Missy is a love bug. She is active and smart. She is working on "sit" and sleeps in her crate. She gets along with the other dog in the household. She uses the doggy door well. Meet the dog/puppy at weekly adoption events (every Saturday) Meet cat/kitten at area locations including our Kitty Korner (1649 Main St)

Interview

Interview to see if the pet will be a good fit into the home.

Approve Application

The application is completed and approved.

Sign Adoption Contract

Meet the pet. A short interview will be conducted. Fill out an adoption application and contract and you can take your new companion home. We are always here to support you after the adoption with any questions or concerns.

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events every Saturday from 10 to 1 at the Grand Junction Petco, PetSmart or Chow Down for dogs and puppies. Cats and kittens can be seen by appointment at Grand Rivers Humane Kitty Korner (1649 Main St, Grand Junction 970.257.0070) or anytime at Petco, PetSmart and J&M Aquatics. All of our adoptable pets come from Mesa County Animal Services.
