Meet Vinny, a 5.5-year-old, 10-pound terrier mix with a heart full of love! Surrendered to CAMO Rescue in rough shape, Vinny has since undergone a makeover and is feeling much more like himself. He does have a heart murmur. Though he was shy at first, his true personality quickly emerged. Vinny enjoys the company of people but is perfectly content doing his own thing. He loves to roam around the yard and roll in the grass, soaking up the outdoors.
Vinny is working on his potty and leash training and is making great progress. While he would be good with kids, he may not be overly interested in playing with toys. Vinny does not get along with other dogs, he would be happiest as the only dog in the home. He does seem fine with cats thou. He would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention, enjoying the spotlight he deserves!

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership.
