Meet Melita, a sweet and loving girl who’s been patiently waiting for her forever home. ❤️ She has grown into a wonderful companion who is ready to share her love with a new family. Melita enjoys neck scratches, belly rubs, and playing with water, toys, and her doggy friends. 🐾💦

Melita is very smart and eager to please, and with some patience and dedication, she will excel in her training. While she has been mostly living outside and knows how to use a dog door, she will need continued work on house training and leash skills. 🏡 This girl deserves the chance to experience the warmth and love of a home.

Right now, Melita is in a shelter, and we only have a few weeks to find her the loving family she deserves. 💕 She is ready to become part of a family who will offer her a soft bed, plenty of love, and the stability she has been missing.

Melita does have a tendency to resource guard her food and bones from other dogs, so she prefers a bit of space during mealtimes. She would thrive in a home with passive dogs and plenty of opportunities for playtime and companionship. 🐕💕
