Meet Mick and Jagger, two adorable and fun-loving Aussie/Collie mix puppies who are eagerly waiting to find their forever homes! These sweet 14-week-old pups were locally surrendered and will be ready for adoption in the next few weeks. We’re now accepting applications for these lovable little guys!

Jagger, nicknamed "Mr. Wiggle Bum," loves to greet you with his whole body wagging, and he even hops when he’s excited! He’s a cuddler and enjoys staying close to you, but also loves playing with his brother Mick.

Mick is a bit more independent, often exploring on his own, but he’s equally sweet and loves to cuddle. Both pups are happy-go-lucky, eager to please, and absolutely love kids and meeting new people. They walk well on a leash and are full of energy, always ready for playtime!

Both puppies are doing great with their housetraining (still in progress) and sleep through the night without a peep. They love to crawl into your lap for snuggles and are quick to show affection.

When they’re together, they often mimic each other’s behavior, but once adopted separately, their individual personalities will shine even more.

One of our volunteers will reach out either by phone or email. Please be sure to check your junk file.

Home Check

Our Home Checks are Virtual on Zoom, FaceTime, Messenger..... followed by reference check as well as a vet reference check.

4.
Meet the Pet

Once your application has been approved and we think the dog you have applied for is a good match we will then set up a meet & greet.

Approve Application

Sign Adoption Contract

Once the adoption contract and fee have been received the dog can go home with the approved adopter.

Backstreet Paws Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer based organization that helps homeless, abandoned street dogs find their forever homes. We are dedicated to providing the best possible care for these animals until they can be placed into a loving home. Our ultimate goal is to reduce the number of dogs that are euthanized each year in shelters due to lack of adoptions. We believe that every dog deserves a chance at a happy life and we are committed to helping as many dogs as possible.
