My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We're totally in love with Cheddar! He is very cuddly and eager to please. His foster family is working on training with him, including sit, down, stay, come, kennel up, and go to bed. He enjoys spending time outside and getting energy out with a game of fetch. He also loves following his foster mom around the house and likes to keep his people in sight. This little goofball sometimes drags his beloved blanket out of his kennel where he sleeps at night and over to his bed where he hangs out during the day. Such a funny guy!

Go meet their pets

Our pets are currently in foster homes as well as we have a program with the local women's prison. With the prison the animals live in the room with the inmate handler and receive socialization and training. We have just recently added dogs to our program with the prison. Generally the pets are brought to our office for their meet and greets and adoptions. We also partner with Ziggy's Cat Lounge in Bremerton for our cats and kittens.

More about this rescue

We are a small but mighty Humane Society serving an underserved county with adoption, spay and neuter, wellness, stray recovery, and other animal related services. Currently we are all foster as we don't have a shelter yet, but we have a 5 acre parcel we are going to build a shelter on. We have started the planning process with Shelter Planners of America.
