My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾LUNA🐾
*** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet.
(Indoor-only, no declawing, Utah residents only, 21+.)

Meet Luna! 🐾 This sweet girl is the definition of a friendly, loving companion. Luna absolutely adores being around her humans and will happily follow you from room to room, just to stay close. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or working at your desk, she'll be right there, ready for some pets or a snuggle session. 🛋️ There's nothing she loves more than a good cuddle, and you'll often find her curled up next to you, purring away contentedly.

But Luna isn’t just about snuggles—she’s playful too! She has a blast chasing the laser pen around the room, zipping across the floor in hot pursuit. 🎯 And when it’s time to unwind, she loves to perch on her cat tree, surveying her kingdom from above or taking a nap in a cozy nook. 🐾

Luna has a best friend named Autumn. 🌸 These two have been through thick and thin together, having come from a tough situation. Luna and Autumn would love to find a home where they can stay together, if possible, but it’s not required.

** She needs a quiet indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. She needs a family who will give her lots of love, attention, and playtime. **

She does great with other cats after proper introductions. We aren’t sure how she is with dogs. She does well with respectful, gentle children, and she is litter box trained.

If you're looking for a loving companion, Luna is your girl! 🏠💕

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
