My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baby Rocky is the sweetest girl to ever land on planet Earth. At just about a year old, she has endured what no dog ever should; and yet somehow still remains sweet as can be, with people and other dogs. Rocky adores just being held, and talks to; and almost instantaneously melts into people. She has potential to well in most homes that will give her the time necessary to adjust, and give the proper space in order to do so.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
