My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cinnamon is a happy momma girl! She only occasionally becomes shy, but otherwise she's a happy go lucky girl, and as loving as can be! She adores giving humans hugs, kisses, and tail wags as often as she can; and adores having a canine companion around to keep her company. At about 3 years old, she's full sized around 32 pounds currently, but she should be near or in her 40's. Luckily, Cinnamon has no issue with the weight-gain side of things; and happily accepts all the treats we've got to offer!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
