I was the runt of the litter, tiny but always mighty! I was the first to show my siblings how to do or `overcome` things, first to use the litter box, first to climb cat trees that were scary to the rest, and first to climb gates or get over obstacles in my way. I am extremely food motivated, which I learned from my mama. My foster mom commonly referred to me as `Squeaky` as in `The Squeaky Wheel Always Gets the Grease!` I love being pet & will arch my back in preparation. I`m Lieutenant Dan, a male tabby kitten, bonded to my brother Forrest Gump. We`ve been around other cats, dogs, and humans of all ages. We can`t go to a home with children under age five.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
