Lovable Halsey is currently in a foster home and ready to find her forever home to retire in! This sweet senior girl is 8 years old. She came to the shelter as a stray in December 2023, so we have no background history on her. Halsey has been the greatest girl and won our hearts in an instant! Here's what we've learned about her:
Knows basic commands & corrects easily
Appears housebroken
Loves to be by your side & give kisses
Will roll over for belly rubs
Requires a slow-paced home due to her Arthritis
Still loves to play with toys
Vocal & loves conversation
Older kids would be best for her
Halsey is simply looking for a loving home, to live out her golden years in as your Golden Girl!
All dog adoptions come with 4 weeks of GoodPup training to help them get off to a strong start with their new family!

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
