My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Duchess, I'm a 5 year old Belgian Sheepdog/German shepherd mix living at the Santa Barbara Campus and I am eager for a new home!

My friends at the shelter all say I'm a very sweet girl! I like to give lots of kisses to my favorite people and go on long walks. I've had visits with children and was told I was a good girl around them! If you're looking for a moderately active gal to take on lots of walks, play fetch with, but can still settle down and enjoy a good cuddle session, then come on down and visit me!

Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
