Meet Mr. Callie, a charming young feline who radiates friendliness and playfulness. With his easygoing personality, he has seamlessly integrated into a multi-pet household, displaying a relaxed demeanor around both dogs and cats.
Callie's inquisitive nature keeps him entertained as he explores his environment and engages with his assortment of toys. He is good-natured and laid-back. While he enjoys his personal space, Callie also loves to snuggle.
His sweet, low meow is a delightful addition to his adaptable spirit. He will make a perfect companion for families and individuals alike.
This animal has tested positive for FeLV. FeLV kitties can live a happy life with a little extra attention. Ask your adoption advocate for more information.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
