Hello everyone, I'm Louie!
I'm a handsome Frenchie who recently turned 1yo. I'm very sweet, energetic, and love to be around my human! I LOVE to play!! Especially with my foster brother. I would do great with siblings that love to play as much as I do. My favorite game is to play keep away with any toy.
I came to BHNW because my previous owner wasn't able to give me the attention I crave due to personal medical issues. I need to learn more manners, but my foster father is working on that with me. I'm also learning not to bark at every loud noise I hear. I am crate and house trained. Once I learn which door is used for potty, I will let you know by standing there and staring at you. I will do fine with children, but because I'm learning not to jump up, small children might not work for me.
I love attention, so I it would be better if my new owner wasn't away from me for very long periods. Someone who works from home or is retired would be best. I may have allergies as I have had some problems with scratching my ears, but a monthly cytopoint injection has cleared that up.

All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match.
