Meet Duke, a gentle two-year-old mixed breed. This sweet boy may have started off a little unsure, but once he realized the world wasn’t so scary, his true colors started to shine through! Now, Duke`s days are filled with playful moments and heartwarming interactions that prove he’s a bundle of love just waiting to find a family who appreciates his gentle spirit.
Duke`s transformation from timid to tender-hearted is nothing short of inspiring. He first came in with his siblings, unsure and a bit nervous, but with a little time and a lot of patience, Duke began to show his affectionate side. After just a few days, he started to happily trotting over for some ear rubs, leaning into for gentle leg rubs, and melting hearts with his soft gaze. He’s the kind of pup who, once he gets to know you, will nuzzle his way into your heart—and probably into your lap too, if you let him!
What really lights up Duke’s eyes is playtime with other dogs. He’s a social butterfly when it comes to his furry friends, enjoying every romp and chase in the playgroup. His playful energy brings out the best in other dogs, and he’s sure to make a great companion for any pup in need of a loyal playmate. Duke would do wonderfully in a home where he has a canine buddy to keep him company and to share his playful moments.
Duke is waiting to bring his special kind of joy to a new loving home. If you think you could be the one to help Duke continue his journey of trust and happiness, reach out to us or come meet him at Anderson County Paws M, T, Th, F, Sat between 12-5!
