Meet Newman, a charming 9-year-old English Bulldog with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Despite his age, Newman is still spunky and active, ready to engage in both fun and snuggles. While he's in good health overall, he occasionally feels anxious during thunderstorms, loud noises, or too much excitement-but with a calm environment, he's a happy, relaxed companion.
Newman's ideal home would offer plenty of time for naps, playtime, and endless neck and belly rubs. He adores being with his humans as much as possible, so a household where he can be part of the daily action would make him thrive.
He gets along well with his smaller foster brother and would likely do well with other dogs, though we're not sure about cats. For families with children, we recommend older kids (10 and up) to ensure everyone can respect Newman's needs and boundaries.
Newman is a true gentleman. He's well-mannered, knows basic commands, and will always let you know when it's time for a potty break. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and playful companion, Newman is your guy.
If you'd like to learn more about Newman please complete and application for this sweet boy!

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
