Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Maz entered City of Corona Animal Services as a stray. When she wasn't claimed, we scooped her up on September 19th to become a Frosted Face. She is around 10 years old and weighs 5 lbs.
Soon after Maz arrived, volunteers took her and and her friend Ula for an outing to a local winery. Maz and Ula are very sweet girls who love being outdoors, riding in the car, and being held and cuddled. The are calm and friendly, the perfect companions for an outing! The girls were a big hit at the winery and did well with people and other dogs walking by.
Maz went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what she is like in a home environment. Her Fling Mom reports:
"Maz is a wonderful dog. She is lively and seems to love people. She became attached to us very quickly, especially our daughter who is 15. She is smart and very quickly picked up on the routines, noises, and activities in our home. She is so cuddly and loves to be held or snuggle on the couch.
Maz is great with both men and women. She would be good with older kids. She did meet our neighbors who are younger (aged 6 and 8). She seemed nervous around them.
Maz barked at our cats at first but soon warmed up to them. She seemed mostly uninterested in our other dogs and chickens. She did follow our pack and seemed to quickly learn their routines.
Maz had a couple accidents in the house at first, but she quickly got the hang of it. She slept in a large crate every night without any accidents.
Maz seems to get tired after short walks. Being so little, I imagine even a short walk feels long for her! Our other dogs tried to play with her a couple times, but she wasn't very interested. She is more cuddly than playful."
Maz is back on-site and ready for her forever home.To see if this special little girl is the best friend you've been looking for, drop by between 10:00am and 3:00pm!
