My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loraine is a 5 year old Cocker Spaniel. She has spent all of her life as a breeding dog in a Puppy Mill. She has now found her way into rescue to help her find a loving, patient, caring, and forever home to spend the rest of her life as a dog should. She enjoys being outside rolling and running in the grass along with her dog friends. Inside the home, she gets along with cats, dogs, and all the toys.
She's doing great with house training and sleeps well at night, whether it be in a crate or on a comfy dog bed. She is a bit shy and would do best with another dog and fenced yard. She is not leashed trained.

Adoption fee is $450

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
