My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We were asked to help the previous owners find a good home for Huk because he did not get along with their two dogs.

We had hopes that he would get along better with his litter mate who we adopted when he was 5 months old. Our dog has always been a good and welcoming host when we have had other dogs around but after 2 1/2 mo Huk is still showing aggression towards his brother and there have been a couple fights.

We have seen a trainer who said that food aggression can be worked out, but after training - they are likely to "tolerate each other" but not like each other. They have been constantly separated since the last fight & we do not think it is fair for either dog to have to trade off attention.

When not around his brother, Huk is a model dog - very polite, mild mannered and loves to cuddle and play ball. We are working on commands and he does know "sit" and will almost shake. We feel that he would be a great in a 1 dog family.
