Desperately looking for a home for this beautiful, sweet 3-year-old boy cat that I found dumped in our neighborhood. He had a PVC pipe around his neck, and it took me four weeks to trap him. I took him to emergency care (VEG) in San Ramon and they were able to remove the pipe. Fortunately, he was not injured significantly from this (just some hair removed under his chin). VEG also neutered him, cleaned him, gave him flea treatment, did some tests etc. and I have the documentation from his exam and tests. His health is great other than he tested positive for FIV (not transferrable to humans). Ideally, he would be suited to an indoor home with no other cats, and can be expected to live a full, normal life. The owner would need to be patient as this kitty is still very shy to human touch.
He is currently fostering in our home; he is frightened but has started to show his personality and move around the house. He is very clean and uses the litterbox. Unfortunately, we cannot keep him.
