My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Lucky. I came to the shelter with 5 siblings so I enjoyed playing with siblings. We are used to being around adults cats and a dog. I am very sweet, easy going and purriful. I will become more confident with your TLC. I am also active but love being pet and cuddle. I am crate trained but I prefer not to be inside because I have so much energy to run. I will be indoor only cat since I have no idea of outdoor dangers. I will be available for adoption as soon as I am fixed. I am eating Science diet dry food, Nulo chicken, duck and chicken Tasteful wet food. If you are interested in adopting me, please contact my foster.

More about this shelter

Ventura County Animal Services (VCAS) operates two shelters within the county. The large main shelter in Camarillo houses over 400 pets and the administrative offices. Our smaller facility in Simi Valley houses nearly 40 pets at a time.

Each year, Ventura County Animal Services cares for more than 10,000 animals. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and find life-long homes for as many animals as possible, while providing proper care during their stay.
