My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a sweet angelic girl to call your own? Well look no further as Angelica is here! this cuddle bug just wants to spend all of her time around the people she knows and will smother you with lots of kisses. She is looking for a home that can help her build her confidence and where she will be spoiled with affection. If Angelica seems like the perfect fit for you, apply today.

~ Angelica is looking for a home with older children as she does have some mobility issues
~ Angelica would love to find a home where her adopters have previous dog experience so they will better understand her as she uses her body language to help guide the people around her
~ She will need to be signed up for training prior to going into her forever home

Regularly Exhibited Behaviours Noticed:
- Nervous / Shy
- Under - Socialized
- Limited mobility due to medical

Explanation of Behaviours:
- Angelica can be nervous of new people, in new environments and in new situations. Her new family will need to be patient and help her become more comfortable with these things and help her build her confidence.
- Angelica will need plenty of enrichment options as her mobility is currently affected.

This dog would benefit from:
- A home with older children
- A dog experienced home
- Socialization

Training needs/behaviours that need to be worked with for this dog:
- Confidence Building
- Socialization

**Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.

Additional adoption info

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your envirnoment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
