My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet George, a charming 2-year-old cat with a heart full of love! George is incredibly friendly and sweet, always ready to greet you with a gentle purr and a friendly meow. His captivating yellow eyes are sure to draw you in, and he absolutely loves having his big cheeks rubbed. Mellow and affectionate, George is the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loving friend. George is Feline Leukemia positive and will need to be the only cat in the home. This sweet and mellow boy will happily curl up beside you for some quality bonding time. George has a gentle disposition, making him the ultimate companion for anyone looking to add a little warmth to their home.

Additional adoption info

HSNMB does not hold animals and all adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis in person at the shelter. Once the adoption is completed and the fee is paid, you must take the animal with you at that time.

Please be sure to bring a photo ID and cash or a credit card for the adoption fee. The primary caregiver is required to be present to go through the adoption process. Any children 5 and under and, in some cases, any existing dogs living in the home will be required to be present and meet the animal prior to adopting. Meet and greets are not required for all animals, but may be deemed necessary by HSNMB staff for specific pets.

Adoption Fees:
Cats (over 6 months of age): $60
Kittens (under 6 months of age): $100
Dogs (over 6 months of age): $110
Puppies (under 6 months of age): $140
Seniors ages 60 and up qualify for discounted adoptions fees.
